Pornstar Olivia Nova found dead, just months after her boyfriend committed suicide

The American adult film industry is mourning the death of a young porn star, Olivia Nova, who was found dead.

                     

The 20-year-old Minnesota native who rose to fame in 2017,  was found dead in Las Vegas on the 7th of January.

In December, she tweeted that she was alone during the holidays and needed fans to "lift her spirits." 

                  

In a statement released on Monday by her agency, LA Direct Models, it was said that the cause of her strange death was "unknown."

                     

"While only represented by Direct Models for a short period of time, we came to know Olivia as a beautiful girl with a very sweet and gentle personality," the statement read.

"She was a great person," a friend from Minnesota told Radar Online. "We're missing her. Everyone is in shock. We're trying to piece this together."

Nova's death comes less than a year after her boyfriend committed suicide. In a tweet earlier in December, she said he killed himself two days before her birthday in April.  

The porn star whose time was brief in the industry made her debut in March  2017 and was featured in productions by Vixen, Naughty America, FTV Girls, New Sensations, Brazzers, Digital Sin and Girlfriends Films.

                   

Nova is the fourth porn star to recently and unexpectedly pass away. August Ames committed suicide on December 6 at age 23 after enduring cyber harassment, Yuri Luv died on December 13 from a drug overdose at age 31 and Shyla Stylez died in November from unknown causes at 35.
